Tell Your Story of Home is an exploration of where we feel at home, who we are and what we value. In this journal-writing class, we will explore places that have shaped us and what home means today. Through writing prompts, you will create your own portrait of home as sanctuary. There will be ample time for sharing and discussion.
Home transcends space---it can be found in a person, an experience, a love of beauty, the pursuit of a passion. It is shorthand for finding out where we belong, for discovering our sense of community and belonging.
Our sense of home is also shifting due to global warming, economic uncertainty, and divisive politics---so how do we find a refuge in uncertain times?
